Red Dress Ball Supports Women's Heart Health

Join Soroptimist International of Coupeville, Oak Harbor and South Whidbey for the Red Dress Ball at the Coupeville Rec Hall at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1.

The Red Dress Ball provides an opportunity to support women's heart health on Whidbey Island while enjoying a festive evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, entertainment and dancing.

Soroptimist International of Coupeville, Oak Harbor and South Whidbey will present the Red Dress Ball at the Coupeville Rec Hall Feb. 1.

Proceeds will benefit Heart of a Woman, a program that provides Heartwise Cholesterol screenings to Whidbey Island women with a financial challenge.

The featured speaker will be Dr. M. Christy Smith, who will talk about women and heart disease.

Central Whidbey Firemen and paramedics and EMTs of Whidbey General Hospital EMS will provide special entertainment.

Event Details

    • Red Dress BallSaturday, Feb. 1, 2014, 6 p.m. at the Coupeville Rec Hall.
    • Tickets are $50 per person and include a no-host bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert.
    • Dancing to Moose Mobile Music begins at 8 p.m.
    • Tickets are available from Soroptimist members; at Whidbey Island Bank in Langley and Coupeville; at Upscale Retail, Hallmark or Casual House in Oak Harbor; and at Whidbey General's Life Center for Essential Wellness.
