Whidbey General Hospital

Lost and Found

While you are at Whidbey General, we are completely focused on your health and well-being. For your peace of mind, we encourage you to leave personal belongings at home or to send them home after you arrive at the hospital.

Valuables such as jewelry, wallets or money should be stored in the hospital safe. A member of your care team will be happy to make the appropriate arrangements.

We will use a pink identification tag to label the items that should remain with you. For your convenience, we will make a record of these items.

If you leave anything behind, we will attempt to contact you or your family for 24 hours. After that time, we will send items to lost and found.

To Recover Lost Items

To report a lost item or inquire about a found item, please call 360-678-7656, ext. 3051 or 360-321-7656, ext. 3051 and leave a message with contact information and a description of the item. Our Environmental Services team checks for messages regularly.

Patient and family members may pick up belongings between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or by making prior arrangement with Environmental Services.
