Whidbey General Gift Shop
Not your everyday hospital gift shop
Our gift shop is run entirely by Whidbey General Hospital Auxiliary volunteers, including Kathy Pigott, above left, and shop manager Michelle Suggs. These volunteers provide friendly, enthusiastic customer service, while helping you to find the perfect item for yourself or someone you love.
Many of our customers visit us before traveling to pick up new apparel and accessories or to buy a "12th Man" hat or jersey at our Seahawks fan corner.
Stocked with plenty of fashionable women’s apparel, jewelry, scarves and colorful, modern handbags, the Whidbey General Gift Shop is a fun place to browse and perhaps find yourself a cute new outfit at a reasonable price.
The shop also carries a wide selection of unique gifts for home and garden, books and art by local artists, children’s toys, greeting cards and a mouth-watering selection of snacks and sweets, including See's Candies and Seattle Chocolates. Flowers and gifts are available for patient same-day delivery with no service fees.
The best news is that profits from sales at the shop support the purchase of medical equipment on the hospital’s annual Wish List. In 2014, more than $50,000 was raised by the gift shop team!
