Mark E. Coughenour MD

Board-certified medical oncologist Mark Coughenour, MD, sees patients at Whidbey General on Mondays through an affiliation with the Providence Regional Cancer Partnership. Dr. Coughenour treats all types of cancer and has cared for hundreds of patients at Whidbey General since 1992. He emphasizes providing as much care as possible in a patient’s local community. Dr. Coughenour works closely with surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical specialists to provide the best possible treatment outcomes. He is a member of Puget Sound Oncology Consortium and follows treatment guidelines established by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. When appropriate, Dr. Coughenour assists patients in accessing clinical trials of innovative new cancer treatments.

  • Collaboration with colleagues around the Greater Puget Sound to provide patients with access to clinical trials of new cancer therapies
