Since 1970, Whidbey General has been committed to improving the health and well-being of the Whidbey Island community through local, high quality and compassionate care.

We are a fully-accredited Critical Access Hospital with more than 700 professional staff. A high quality nursing staff and more than 70 physicians support a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including:

The Whidbey Island Public Hospital District Board of Commissioners oversees the hospital and its facilities.

Whidbey General Hospital participates with other Western Washington Rural Public District Hospitals, some of which are also Critical Access Hospitals, through an Interlocal Agreement that governs the sharing of information, services and other arrangements.

This resolution of the Commission of Whidbey Island Public Hospital District approves the terms of the amended and restated Interlocal Agreement.
