Tobacco Cessation / Quit Smoking
In collaboration with Island County Health Department and the Whidbey General Hospital Foundation, we offer a four-part series of classes for Tobacco Cessation. Topics covered are:
- Tobacco and Addiction
- Nicotine Replacement Therapy and Medications
- Health Effects of Tobacco Use
- Tools to Stop Smoking and for Quitting Tobacco Use
- Exercise
- Food
- Stress
- Relapse Prevention
When you attend all four classes, we offer a voucher for a free box of nicotine replacement patches.
These classes are FREE.
The instructor is a certified tobacco treatment specialist.

QUITTING TOBACCO FOR GOOD
Tobacco Cessation Information/Support Sessions
Island County Health Department and the Whidbey General Hospital will be offering free information/support sessions for quitting tobacco for good. These one-hour sessions will help you learn about health issues related to tobacco, the many tools that are now available for helping you quit, and how to find the resources that would best serve you. Refreshments will be provided. Whether you use cigarettes or smokeless tobacco, whether you’ve tried to quit before or not, there are now many resources that can help you. Come by and get inspired to “Quit for Good”. Those who have recently quit and are looking for support are also invited.
