Surgical Services

More than 3000 procedures, on average, are performed at Whidbey General Hospital a year. The assurance that you can have the quality care you need, close to home, is comforting. Our surgeons are all board certified/board eligible in their fields and many have completed fellowships in advanced areas of study.

Whidbey General Hospital offers Surgical Services with the highest standards possible. We participate, with more than 50 other Washington State hospitals, in a statewide initiative to build a safer, higher quality, and more cost effective surgical healthcare system called SCOAP (Surgical Care and Outcomes Assessment Program). SCOAP is a physician-led, voluntary collaborative creating an aviation-like surveillance and response system for surgical quality.
